This funding is designated for the predesign, design, construction, renovation, furnishing, and equipping of a property located at 340 Cedar Street in St. Paul. The purpose of this project is to establish a Regional Youth Housing, Workforce, and Community Services Hub, which will provide space for a housing cooperative, nonprofit organization programming and administration, workforce development, community wellness services, community gathering, and other resources aimed at serving communities throughout the state.

Additionally, the bill includes a provision stating that this section will take effect the day following its final enactment. This initiative is intended to enhance support for youth and community services, thereby fostering economic development and improving access to essential resources for residents in the area.
