This bill appropriates $25,000,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of St. Paul. The funds are designated for the predesign, design, construction, furnishing, and equipping of renovations at the Science Museum of Minnesota. This appropriation is subject to the provisions outlined in Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.695.

Additionally, the bill authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to $25,000,000 to provide the necessary funding from the bond proceeds fund. The bond sale will be conducted in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and the relevant sections of the Minnesota Constitution. The effective date of this section is the day following its final enactment.
