This bill modifies an existing appropriation for capital projects at Open Arms of Minnesota by amending the language in Laws 2023, chapter 71, article 1, section 14, subdivision 81. The amendment changes the focus of the grant from acquiring capital equipment for a new kitchen and nutrition counseling center in Ramsey County to acquiring capital equipment for use in the kitchen and for HVAC improvements at the nutrition counseling center building located in the city of Minneapolis.

Additionally, the bill specifies that the appropriation is available for expenditures made on or after July 1, 2023, and includes a provision stating that the section is effective the day following final enactment.
