This bill appropriates $2,000,000 from the general fund for the fiscal year 2026 to support the expansion of the Indigenous Roots Cultural Arts Center in St. Paul. The funds will be granted to Indigenous Roots, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to acquire, design, renovate, furnish, and equip an adjacent property to enhance the center's programming capacity. The goal is to incubate and support small businesses along the Intertribal Cultural Corridor in St. Paul and surrounding communities. This appropriation is a one-time allocation and will remain available until the project is completed or abandoned, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.

Additionally, the bill includes a provision stating that the section will take effect the day following its final enactment.
