This bill appropriates $50,000 from the arts and cultural heritage fund for the fiscal year 2026 to support the Legacy Coordination Network Education Fund. The funds are designated for the Minnesota Humanities Center to provide grants aimed at programming related to Minnesota African Diaspora Black History Month.

Additionally, the funding will support educational outreach activities designed to educate both youth and the general public about the historical and cultural contributions of African-heritage communities in Minnesota.
