This bill appropriates $6,800,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the Metropolitan Council for a grant to the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board. The funds are designated for the design and construction of trail connections and associated improvements for the Grand Rounds Missing Link trail on the east side of Minneapolis, specifically between East River Road and St. Anthony Parkway.

Additionally, the bill authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to the amount of $6,800,000 to provide the necessary funding. The bond issuance will follow the procedures outlined in Minnesota Statutes and the Minnesota Constitution. The provisions of this bill will take effect the day after it is enacted.
