This bill appropriates $2,200,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the Public Facilities Authority for a grant to the Middle Fork Crow River Watershed District. The funds are designated for the design, engineering, construction, and equipping of water infrastructure and associated public utilities in the Middle Fork Crow River Watershed, specifically to address hydrogen sulfide levels in the water supply of the city of New London.

Additionally, the bill authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to the amount of $2,200,000 to provide the necessary funding. The provisions for the bond sale will follow the guidelines set forth in Minnesota Statutes and the Minnesota Constitution. The bill will take effect the day after it is enacted.
