This bill appropriates a total of $44,500,000 for the reconstruction of the interchange at marked Trunk Highway 13 and Nicollet Avenue in Burnsville. It includes two separate appropriations: $22,250,000 from the bond proceeds fund for general obligation bonds and another $22,250,000 from the trunk highway fund for trunk highway bonds. The funds will be used for predesign, right-of-way acquisition, design, engineering, and construction of grade separation and other improvements aimed at enhancing capacity and safety at the interchange.

Additionally, the bill authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds to raise the necessary funds for both appropriations. The bond sales will be conducted in accordance with specified Minnesota Statutes and the Minnesota Constitution. The proceeds from these bond sales, excluding any accrued interest and premiums, will be deposited into the respective bond proceeds accounts.
