The bill appropriates $3,000,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of natural resources for the purpose of designing and constructing a segment of the Mesabi Trail, which includes a pedestrian bridge. This construction is necessitated by the permanent closure of County State-Aid Highway 102 in Mountain Iron.
