This bill amends Minnesota Statutes to modify the requirements for liquor licenses issued to the Board of Regents of the University of Minnesota. Specifically, it allows the Board of Regents to obtain on-sale intoxicating liquor licenses for various locations, including Northrop Auditorium and the intercollegiate football stadium, as well as for up to seven additional locations within the university's boundaries. The bill also clarifies that licenses may be issued for non-contiguous spaces, provided they are included in the approved license applications. Additionally, it specifies that no alcoholic beverages may be sold at Huntington Bank Stadium unless the Board holds a valid on-sale intoxicating liquor license for that location.

Furthermore, the bill removes the prohibition on issuing liquor licenses on the campus of the College of Agriculture of the University of Minnesota, thereby expanding the potential for liquor sales in that area. Other existing restrictions on liquor licenses in certain areas, such as the Capitol grounds and the State Fairgrounds, remain unchanged. The effective date for these amendments is set for the day following final enactment.
