This bill appropriates $4,500,000 from the bond proceeds account in the trunk highway fund for the planning, design, environmental review, engineering, and right-of-way acquisition necessary for the reconstruction of the interchange at Interstate Highway 35 and Scott County State-Aid Highway 2. The funds will be managed by the commissioner of transportation, who is responsible for overseeing the project.

Additionally, the bill authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to the amount of $4,500,000 to finance the appropriation.
