The bill appropriates $15,567,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities for campus improvements at Minnesota West Community and Technical College. Specifically, the funds will be used to design, renovate, and equip nursing and Peace Officer training spaces at the Granite Falls and Worthington campuses, as well as to enhance student services space at the Granite Falls campus.

To finance this appropriation, the bill authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to the amount of $15,567,000, following the procedures outlined in Minnesota Statutes and the Minnesota Constitution. The effective date of this section is the day following its final enactment.
