This bill appropriates $10,500,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to the Cloquet Area Fire District. The funds are designated for acquiring a site, demolishing existing structures, preparing the site, and the predesign, design, construction, furnishing, and equipping of one or more fire stations as identified by the Cloquet Area Fire District Board.

To finance this appropriation, the bill authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to the amount of $10,500,000, following the procedures outlined in Minnesota Statutes and the Minnesota Constitution.
