This bill appropriates $5,000,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the Public Facilities Authority for a grant to the East Range Water Board. The funds are designated for the acquisition of property and the construction, furnishing, and equipping of a new drinking water system that will serve the East Range Water System and its member communities.

To finance this appropriation, the bill authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to the amount of $5,000,000, following the procedures outlined in Minnesota Statutes and the Minnesota Constitution. The provisions of this bill will take effect the day after it is enacted.
