The bill proposes an appropriation of $6,400,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of transportation for the purpose of developing a tempered vehicle and equipment storage and fueling facility at the Hutchinson Area Transportation Services facility in Hutchinson, Minnesota. This funding will be allocated through one or more grants to McLeod County, the city of Hutchinson, or both, to cover the costs associated with predesign, design, construction, furnishing, and equipping the facility.

Additionally, the bill authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to the amount of $6,400,000 to finance the appropriation. The bond sale will be conducted in accordance with the relevant Minnesota Statutes and the state constitution. The provisions of this bill will take effect the day following its final enactment.
