The bill proposes an appropriation of $7,500,000 from the general fund for the fiscal year 2026 to support the Lundstrum Center for the Performing Arts, a nonprofit organization. The funds are designated for the predesign, design, and construction of teaching spaces and a new theater aimed at benefiting the youth and community members of North Minneapolis and its surrounding areas.

This appropriation is a one-time allocation and will remain available until the project is either completed or abandoned, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
