Furthermore, the bill repeals sections 383C.07 and 383C.74, which included provisions for the terms of office for lay members appointed to boards and commissions and an obsolete county appropriation for historical work, respectively. The historical work appropriation allowed the St. Louis County Board to allocate up to $2,500 annually for promoting historical work within the county, which is no longer deemed necessary.
