This bill appropriates $500,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of natural resources for a grant to the city of Faribault. The funds are designated for site preparation and the design, construction, furnishing, and equipping of a new building at the River Bend Nature Center. This facility will serve as an environmental multicultural visitors center, providing educational and exhibit facilities for the general public, along with outdoor public space improvements and trail enhancements.
Additionally, the bill authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to $500,000 to finance the appropriated funds.
