This bill appropriates $10,000,000 from the general fund for fiscal year 2026 to the Public Facilities Authority. The funds are designated for a grant to the First District Association, a dairy cooperative in Litchfield, to design, engineer, construct, equip, and furnish a new wastewater industrial pretreatment facility. This appropriation is in addition to a previous allocation made in Laws 2023, chapter 71, article 1, section 15, subdivision 7, for the same purpose.

Additionally, the bill includes a provision stating that the section will take effect the day following its final enactment.
