This bill appropriates $25,000 from the all-terrain vehicle account in the natural resources fund for the fiscal year 2026 to the commissioner of natural resources. The funds are designated for updating the C.J. Ramstad/North Shore State Trail Master Plan to permit all-terrain vehicle use on specific portions of the trail located within Cook and Lake Counties.

Additionally, the bill mandates that by February 1, 2026, the commissioner must provide a report to the chairs and ranking minority members of the legislative committees responsible for environment policy and finance.
