The bill proposes an appropriation of $995,000 from the general fund for the Como Community Center in Minneapolis. This funding is designated for a grant to the commissioner of employment and economic development, aimed at constructing, furnishing, and equipping improvements to renovate and repurpose the historic Como Congregational Church into a community center, public meeting space, and auditorium for public use.

Additionally, the bill allows for up to $100,000 of the appropriation to reimburse the Como Community Center for costs incurred after October 1, 2024, related to this project.
