The funds will be allocated, with 65% going to the Board of Water and Soil Resources for habitat-friendly solar initiatives and 35% to the commissioner of agriculture for educational purposes related to agricultural water quality certification. The bill is set to take effect on January 1, 2025, for plates issued on or after that date.
