This bill appropriates $7,408,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the Public Facilities Authority for a grant to the city of Woodbury. The funds are designated for the acquisition of property, design, and construction of a water storage facility and water main infrastructure aimed at storing drinking water that has been treated for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination.

Additionally, the bill authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to the amount of $7,408,000 to provide the necessary funding. The provisions for the bond sale will follow the guidelines set forth in Minnesota Statutes and the Minnesota Constitution. The bill will take effect the day after it is enacted.
