Additionally, the bill establishes penalties for non-compliance. Employers who fail to adhere to the requirements of displaying and distributing the poster will face civil fines of $5,000 for a first violation and $10,000 for any subsequent violations. Enforcement of these fines can be pursued by the county prosecutor or the attorney general, with collected fines directed to the general fund.
