Additionally, the bill requires that, subject to appropriation, by July 1, 2027, and annually thereafter, these educational institutions must provide an annual summary to the parents or legal guardians of each enrolled student. This summary will include data from the MI School Data website's education dashboard and the school's performance on state assessments by subject area. Furthermore, the Center for Educational Performance and Information (CEPI) is tasked with expanding the information on the MI School Data website to include data from the parent dashboard and to facilitate comparisons of public school information across the state.
