This bill authorizes the state administrative board to convey a specific parcel of state-owned property located in Eaton County to the Michigan Police Equipment Company. The conveyance aims to resolve a slight encroachment issue involving the company's buildings on state land, which has been deemed surplus by the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget. The property must be sold for at least its fair market value, determined by an independent appraisal, and the conveyance will be executed through a quitclaim deed approved by the Department of Attorney General.

Additionally, the bill stipulates that the state will not retain any oil, gas, or mineral rights to the conveyed property; however, if the Michigan Police Equipment Company or its successors develop such resources, they must pay the state half of the gross revenue generated. The bill also reserves all aboriginal antiquities found on the property for the state and mandates that the net revenue from the sale, after deducting associated costs, be deposited into the state treasury and credited to the general fund.
