HOUSE RESOLUTION NO.321
The Speaker, on behalf of the entire membership of the House of
Representatives, offered the following resolution:
1 A resolution of tribute for the Honorable Andrew Fink.
2 Whereas, It is with great admiration for his commitment to the
3 Michigan House of Representatives and people of the Thirty-fifth
4 District, which encompasses all of Branch and Hillsdale counties
5 and the city of Hudson in Lenawee County, that we honor
6 Representative Andrew Fink upon completion of his service as a
7 member of this legislative body. During his four years of service,
8 his ongoing dedication to improving the lives of Michiganders has
9 benefited not only his constituents but the entire state of
10 Michigan; and
11 Whereas, Representative Fink was well-prepared for legislative
12 service before entering the House of Representatives. He earned a

1 juris doctor from the University of Michigan and graduated from
2 Hillsdale College with a bachelor’s degree in politics.
3 Representative Fink worked as an attorney and small business owner,
4 but was no stranger to public service, having served in the United
5 States Marines before coming to Lansing; and
6 Whereas, Representative Fink drew upon his education and
7 experience while serving as the minority vice chair of the
8 Judiciary Committee. In addition, he proudly served on the Economic
9 Development and Small Business Committee, the Subcommittee on
10 Housing, and the Appropriations Committee, where he advocated for
11 responsible state spending; now, therefore, be it
12 Resolved by the House of Representatives, That we offer this
13 expression of admiration and thanks to the Honorable Andrew Fink
14 for his service to the people of this state as a member of this
15 legislative body; and be it further
16 Resolved, That copies of this resolution be transmitted to
17 Representative Fink as evidence of our appreciation and best
18 wishes.
