A bill to amend 1998 PA 58, entitled
"Michigan liquor control code of 1998,"
(MCL 436.1101 to 436.2303) by adding section 516.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
1 Sec. 516. The commission may issue to an incorporated or
2 unincorporated nonprofit veterans' organization that is a branch or
3 chapter of a national organization or an organization chartered by
4 the United States Congress, without regard to the quota provisions
5 of section 531, a license to sell alcoholic liquor for consumption
