A bill to amend 1965 PA 232, entitled
"Agricultural commodities marketing act,"
by amending section 12 (MCL 290.662).
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
1 Sec. 12. The director shall establish procedures for
2 determination of volume for the conduct of referendums and other
3 necessary procedures. For the purpose of referendums under this
4 act, a producer is entitled to 1 vote representing a single firm,
5 individual proprietorship, corporation, company, association,

1 partnership, husband-wife or spousal or family ownership.
2 Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect
3 unless Senate Joint Resolution ____ or House Joint Resolution F
4 (request no. 00367'23) of the 102nd Legislature becomes a part of
5 the state constitution of 1963 as provided in section 1 of article
6 XII of the state constitution of 1963.
