A bill to amend 1846 RS 62, entitled
"Of the nature and qualities of estates in real and personal
property, and the alienation thereof,"
by amending section 45 (MCL 554.45).
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
1 Sec. 45. The preceding section shall Section 44 does not apply
2 to mortgages, nor to devises or grants any of the following:
3 (a) A mortgage.
4 (b) A devise or grant made in trust, or made to executors, a
5 personal representative, or to husband and wife.a spouse.

1 Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect
2 unless Senate Joint Resolution ____ or House Joint Resolution F
3 (request no. 00367'23) of the 102nd Legislature becomes a part of
4 the state constitution of 1963 as provided in section 1 of article
5 XII of the state constitution of 1963.
