A bill to amend 2019 PA 39, entitled
"Administration of opioid antagonists act,"
by amending section 105 (MCL 15.675).
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
1 Sec. 105. (1) An employee or agent may possess an opioid
2 antagonist distributed to that employee or agent under section 103
3 and may administer that opioid antagonist to an individual if both
4 of the following apply:
5 (a) The employee or agent has been trained in the proper

1 administration of that opioid antagonist.
2 (b) The employee or agent has reason to believe that the
3 individual is experiencing an opioid-related overdose.
4 (2) Subject to appropriation of sufficient funding, a local
5 health department shall provide an employee or agent of an agency
6 that is a school district with the training required under
7 subsection (1).
8 Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect
9 unless all of the following bills of the 102nd Legislature are
10 enacted into law:
