A bill to amend 2006 PA 110, entitled
"Michigan zoning enabling act,"
(MCL 125.3101 to 125.3702) by adding section 204b.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
1 Sec. 204b. A zoning ordinance adopted under this act must not
2 prohibit the use of a barn or other facilities located on land
3 zoned for agricultural purposes as a commercial venue for weddings
4 or similar events. This section does not prohibit the regulation of
5 noise, advertising, traffic, hours of operation, or other
6 conditions that may accompany the use of the facilities or land

2 Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days
3 after the date it is enacted into law.
