A bill to amend 1893 PA 206, entitled

"The general property tax act,"

(MCL 211.1 to 211.155) by adding section 7yy.

the people of the state of michigan enact:

Sec. 7yy. For taxes levied after December 31, 2020, additions or improvements to a mobile home subject to the specific tax levied under 1959 PA 243, MCL 125.1035 to 125.1043, are exempt from the collection of taxes under this act. As used in this section, "additions or improvements" includes, but is not limited to, any staircase, deck, carport, or shed attached or joined to, or otherwise on the premises of and associated with, a mobile home subject to the specific tax levied under 1959 PA 243, MCL 125.1035 to 125.1043.
