This bill provides that in the laws governing the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, the term "noncitizen legally admitted to the United States" includes, without limitation, any person who is pursuing any lawful immigration process, who has permanent residence in the United States under color of law or who was eligible to receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits as of July 3, 2025 but is no longer eligible for federally funded food assistance benefits pursuant to the federal One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
