This bill requires the Director of the Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation within the Department of Professional and Financial Regulation to adopt rules that require educational programs for aestheticians, barber hair stylists, cosmetologists and hair designers to include training on the care, styling and treatment of coiled, curly or wavy hair, which is defined in the bill as "textured hair."
