This bill allows a person who is 18 years of age or older and in possession of a valid antlerless deer permit to transfer that permit to a person with a valid junior hunting license. The bill establishes a process for this transfer: the permit holder must identify the name and address of the junior hunter on the permit and any additional information, if requested by the Commissioner of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife and return the permit to the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife within 48 hours after the transfer of the permit. The transferor may not hunt antlerless deer but must provide supervision of the junior hunter while hunting.
