This resolve directs the Office of Affordable Health Care to study, in consultation with the Department of Health and Human Services, the costs and potential funding of a publicly funded, privately and publicly provided, universal health care plan for the State. It directs the office to submit a report with its findings and recommendations to the Joint Standing Committee on Health Coverage, Insurance and Financial Services, which is authorized to report out a bill to the Second Regular Session of the 132nd Legislature.
