An Act to Require Antipinch Sensors on School Bus Doors
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 29-A MRSA §2304, sub-§2, ¶A, as enacted by PL 1993, c. 683, Pt. A, §2
and affected by Pt. B, §5, is amended to read:
A. One door on the right side near the front for ordinary exits and entrances, which
must be equipped with technology to prevent the door from closing on a person's limb
or other body part if the school bus was manufactured in 2025 or later; and
