This bill authorizes the town of Weston to issue an additional license for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be consumed on the premises, specifically for Weston Breakfast, LLC, located at 31 Center Street. The new license will be granted notwithstanding section 17 of chapter 138 of the General Laws, meaning that the usual restrictions of that section do not apply. The license can only be exercised in designated areas of the establishment, such as the dining room and other public rooms deemed appropriate by the licensing authority.

Furthermore, the bill stipulates that the license cannot be transferred to another location but can be granted to a new applicant at the same location under certain conditions, including proof of good standing with the department of revenue and the department of unemployment assistance. If the license is terminated or not renewed, it must be returned to the licensing authority, which can reissue it within three years under the same conditions. The license must be issued within two years of the act's passage, with provisions for new applicants thereafter. The act will take effect immediately upon passage.
