This bill establishes August 10th as Agent Orange Awareness Day in Massachusetts. It mandates that the governor issue an annual proclamation to honor veterans who were exposed to Agent Orange during the Vietnam War, as well as their families. The proclamation will also encourage the public to observe the day in a fitting manner.

The bill adds a new section, Section 15XXXXX, to Part I, Title II, Chapter 6 of the Massachusetts General Laws, which formalizes the observance of this day. There are no deletions from current law associated with this bill.
