legislation to designate the Charlestown division of Boston Municipal
Court as the George Lewis Ruffin courthouse; the petition (accompanied
by bill, House, No. 1685) of Frank A. Moran and Estela A. Reyes relative
to the District Court of Lawrence; the petition (accompanied by bill,
House, No. 1694) of Mathew J. Muratore and others for legislation to
create a new court-supervised community-based mental health treatment
process; the petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 1705) of Tram T.
Nguyen and Margaret R. Scarsdale relative to prohibiting body size
discrimination; the petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 1794) of
Chynah Tyler for legislation to designate the courthouse in the Roxbury
section of the city of Boston as the Edward O. Gourdin courthouse; and
the petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 3592) of Judith A. Garcia,
James C. Arena-DeRosa and Samantha Montaño relative to the
availability of court interpreters, reports recommending that the
accompanying order (House, No. 5013) ought to be adopted.

1 Ordered, That the committee on The Judiciary be authorized to sit during a recess of the
2 General Court to make an investigation and study of House documents numbered 1451, 1486,
3 1552, 1685, 1694, 1705, 1794 and 3592, relative to courts, records and other judiciary matters.
4 Said committee shall report to the General Court the results of its investigation and study
5 and its recommendations, if any, together with drafts of legislation necessary to carry such
6 recommendations into effect, by filing the same with the Clerk of the House of Representatives
7 on or before December 31, 2024.
