3431) of William M. Straus relative to license plate readers; the petition
(accompanied by bill, House, No. 3445) of William M. Straus for
legislation to further regulate technology used in automobiles; the petition
(accompanied by bill, House, No. 3464) of David T. Vieira relative to the
suspension or revocation of motor vehicle licenses for the failure to pay
municipal fines; the petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 3469) of
Tommy Vitolo relative to electronic toll payments; and the petition

legislation to authorize cities and towns to establish height and weight
restrictions for motor vehicles on roadways within 500 yards of quarries or

House of Representatives,
1 Ordered, That the committee on Transportation be authorized to sit during a recess of the
2 General Court to make an investigation and study of House documents numbered 3280, 3310,
3 3387, 3416, 3431, 3445, 3464, 3469 and 3706, relative to transportation matters.
4 Said committee shall report to the General Court the results of its investigation and study
5 and its recommendations, if any, together with drafts of legislation necessary to carry such
6 recommendations into effect, by filing the same with the Clerk of the House of Representatives
7 on or before December 31, 2024.
