The committee on Transportation, to whom was referred the petition
(accompanied by bill, House, No. 3435) of Vincent Lawrence Dixon and
Vanna Howard for legislation to encourage local service delivery of
Registry of Motor Vehicle services; the petition (accompanied by bill,
House, No. 3442) of Shawn Dooley for legislation to establish a special
commission (including members of the General Court) to improve fairness
in local Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority tax assessments; and
the petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 3572) of Smitty Pignatelli
and others relative to expenditures for maintaining, repairing, improving
and constructing municipal ways and bridges, and other eligible municipal
projects, reports the accompanying order (House, No. 4113) ought to be
adopted.

1 Ordered, That the committee on Transportation be authorized to sit during a recess of the
2 General Court to make an investigation and study of House documents numbered 3435, 3442
3 and 3572, relative to transportation governance.
4 Said committee shall report to the General Court the results of its investigation and study
5 and its recommendations, if any, together with drafts of legislation necessary to carry such
6 recommendations into effect, by filing the same with the Clerk of the House of Representatives
7 on or before December 31, 2022.
