Mr. Arceneaux's extensive career includes significant roles in law enforcement, such as serving as the assistant chief and chief of the Gonzales Police Department, working with the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office, and serving as a sergeant at arms for the Louisiana House of Representatives. He also held positions as the director of planning and development for Ascension Parish and as the district director for Congressman Charlie Melancon. Most notably, he served as the mayor of Gonzales from 2008 to 2024 and as the executive director of the Louisiana Municipal Association, where he played a crucial role in mentoring local officials and enhancing the relationship between state and local governments.
In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Arceneaux is recognized for his commitment to community service and leadership, as well as his dedication to his family and his service as a United States Marine Corps veteran.
