Despite facing significant challenges, including an eleven-hour flight delay and a lack of food and sleep before a major competition, Baron excelled at the 2026 VIRUS Weightlifting Series 1 in Columbus, Ohio, where he set American records in the snatch, clean and jerk, and total weight lifted.

Baron's accomplishments have earned him a spot on the United States Youth World Team, allowing him to represent the country at the upcoming Youth World Championship in Cali, Colombia. Described by his coach as an exceptional athlete, Baron balances his rigorous training with academic excellence as an Honors Society student at Episcopal High School.
