The House Resolution commends the John Curtis Christian School girls basketball team for their remarkable achievement in winning the Louisiana High School Athletic Association 2026 Division I Select state championship. The Lady Patriots secured the title by defeating St. Joseph's Academy with a score of 82-38, marking the program's eleventh state championship. Throughout the season, the team demonstrated exceptional performance, finishing with a record of 21 wins and only 1 loss, and they also claimed the District 10-5A title by going undefeated in district play.
