This bill designates a portion of United States Highway 165 in Oberlin, Louisiana, as the "Kulyn Brooks Manuel Memorial Highway." The designated section runs from the north corporate limits to the south corporate limits of Oberlin.
Additionally, the bill directs the Department of Transportation and Development to erect and maintain appropriate signage for this highway designation. However, the implementation of this signage is contingent upon the receipt of local or private funds that cover the department's actual costs, which are capped at $2,250 per sign for materials, fabrication, mounting posts, and installation.
