House Bill No. by Representative Glorioso designates specific portions of highways in Louisiana to honor local figures. The elevated portion of Louisiana Highway 433, from Dubee Pena Road to Rivet Drive in Slidell, will be named the "Emile 'Uncle Tobe' Galatas Bridge." Additionally, a segment of United States Highway 11, from the Dr. T.J. Smith, Sr. Expressway to Louisiana Highway 41 in Pearl River, will be designated as the "Captain Steven Gaudet, Jr. Memorial Highway."

The bill also mandates that the Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) is responsible for erecting and maintaining signage for these designations. However, this is contingent upon the receipt of local or private funds that cover the actual costs incurred by the DOTD for materials and installation, with a cap of $750 per sign for the Galatas Bridge and $2,250 per sign for the Gaudet Memorial Highway.
