Additionally, the bill mandates that the Department of Transportation and Development, or its contractors, are responsible for erecting and maintaining appropriate signage that reflects this designation. However, this is contingent upon the receipt of local or private funds that cover the department's actual costs for the signage, which cannot exceed $2,250 per sign.
