This bill redesignates the bridge located on Louisiana Highway 64 over the Amite River, at the boundary of East Baton Rouge Parish and Livingston Parish, as the "Caleb Easterling Memorial Bridge." The bridge, previously known as the Magnolia Bridge, connects Greenwell Springs Road in East Baton Rouge Parish to Magnolia Bridge Road in Livingston Parish.

Additionally, the bill mandates that the Department of Transportation and Development, or its contractors, are responsible for erecting and maintaining appropriate signage that reflects this new designation. However, this action is contingent upon the receipt of local or private funds that cover the department's actual costs for the signage, which cannot exceed $750 per sign.
